Our API provides comprehensive access to live and historical data across four key areas, with data available in resolutions ranging from 5-minute intervals to monthly summaries.

Solar Data

Gain detailed insight into solar performance. This endpoint provides access to:

• Key Metrics: Whole-of-site solar consumption, production, and export data in both kWh and dollar values.
• Performance Analysis: Track solar savings, peak power generation, median power, and compare costs with and without solar for both real-time and historical periods.

Understand a site's complete energy profile with access to:

• Grid Interaction: Real-time and historical grid import data.
• Peak Demand: Monitor peak demand windows, view historical peak periods, and analyse maximum and minimum energy export.

Appliance Data

Drill down into the consumption of individual devices with:

• Consumption Insights: Access real-time and historical power usage for specific wired and plugged-in appliances.
• Device Management: Retrieve information on labeled and categorised appliances within the Powersensor ecosystem.

Secure Access & Integration Methods

We offer a robust, industry-standard approach for third-party applications to securely access data with user permission.The OAuth 2.0 Integration is our preferred method. After an initial setup, it grants your application secure access to all available API endpoints on a user's behalf without ever exposing their sensitive credentials. This allows for seamless and secure data sharing between different entities.For specific high-volume partners, we also have a separate "integration" route that allows a master account to request historical data on behalf of other users, which involves a manual token negotiation.
