Partnership Opportunities

We have already received some enquiries from businesses interested in using the grants to buy Powersensor solar and energy monitors.

Their needs range from:

  • Monitoring their businesses’ overall real-time energy usage

  • Monitoring their individual appliances energy usage, as well as a health check

  • Monitoring solar generation and electricity consumption in their home based businesses, retail businesses, and electricity networks.

They have also mentioned the need for commercial 3-phase energy monitoring (with access to real-time data via our Fleet view API).

Consistently, the message from those who contacted us is that they were drawn to PS because of its ability to be installed by the home or business owner, saving them money (and time) on costly site inspections and electrical installations to spend on other business aspects instead.

You won't have to disrupt your power supply throughout the 15-minute installation process. Just keep your business running as usual!

What’s Included In The Powersensor Solution

The Sensor

The sensor detects current flowing through the cables without needing to make an electrical connection. The detected current is sent to Powersensor’s secure cloud storage where our patented algorithms convert the signal into power and energy data for your home. The sensor communicates over WiFi to the cloud and Bluetooth to the plug for real-time updates every 30 seconds.

The Plug

The plug has two key functions. It acts as a gateway that allows the sensors to transmit data directly and in real-time to the Powersensor mobile app. The plug also provides appliance level monitoring by monitoring the energy consumption of the connected appliance.

The App

The Powersensor app is available for free to download on your Android and Apple devices, with no subscription fees or ongoing costs. This is where you can see your home’s imported energy data (consumption).

Installation Overview

Watch this 2-minute video to see how easy it is to DIY install your Powersensor Energy Monitoring Solution. It can also be easily extended to the Advanced Solar Monitoring Solution.

No electricians and site inspections needed. No need to disrupt your energy supply or go near any dangerous, live wires.

Install it yourself in 15 minutes - no tools required.
